The role

You will be part of a relatively new team structure (working across entertainment and travel) and your role will be central in building new team relationships.

 

Responsibilities include;

The candidate

We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual who has a minimum of 5 years experience in a digital media role, preferably at an agency currently operating at an Account Director level.

 

  • You will have experience with digi transformation.
  • You will have a strong personality, and you will be able stand up to clients to help them to evolve their comms strategy.
  • You will have a solid understanding of all digital media channels; Display, Programmatic, Paid Social, PPC & Affiliates. Awareness of Influencer marketing would also be a benefit.

                    The role

                    • Be a key day to day contact for clients – helping to maintain a strong working relationship and ensuring they are kept up to date with all activity on the account
                    • Working with your manager to help to mentor and give day to day guidance to less experienced team members
                    • Understand new trends and identify new media opportunities within your planning
                    • Obtaining briefs from clients + working with relevant teams to create client responses
                    • Define the roles for all channels within campaign strategies
                    • Work with specialist teams to deliver cohesive, fully-integrated cross-channel plans
                    • Use planning tools to understand and demonstrate how our offline and online channels work together as part of our overall media plans
                    • Understand how both individual channel KPIs and overall campaign KPIs will be used to measure the success of your plans
                    • Be able to source and recommend suitable performance benchmarks against KPIs set
                    • Understand how to build test and learn opportunities into your planning when relevant
                    • Present cross-channel plans to clients
                    • Excel skills at an intermediate level are ideal (pivot tables, functions etc) you will create plans and reporting analyses using this

                    The candidate

                    We are looking for a motivated, passionate and conscientious individual who has 4+ years’ experience in a comms planning role. You must be thorough and accurate in reviewing and delivery of work.

                    • Analytical: Of course, a good planner will possess amazing technical, numerical and interpretative skills, and be able to draw conclusions and react to any data results and reports
                    • Practical: A ‘doer’, but with an instinct for what can really be achieved when planning and buying plans

                      The role

                      You will be focused on a selection of clients within the group, with client facing responsibilities. You’ll be involved in both the media planning and the buying, in particular leading recommendations involving the use of digital media channels, co-ordinating and writing the supporting detailed media plans and working with channel specialists (search, social, programmatic) to oversee the activation of the plans.

                       

                      • You’ll be a lead client contact –maintaining a strong working relationship and ensuring we are continually considered as an extension of the marketing team
                      • You’ll understand your client’s category, add value with your opinions and demonstrate an ability to make recommendations that will positively impact their businesses
                      • Identify, forecast & introduce new trends &media opportunities within your planning
                      • Define the role for digital media channels within campaign strategies
                      • Coordinate specialist teams to deliver cohesive, fully-integrated cross-channel plans & clearly communicate to clients how the channels will work together
                      • Write and present cross-channel plans, working with non-digital planners to make sure our approach to campaigns is consistent across channels
                      • Recommend how both individual channel overall campaign KPIs will be used to measure the success of your plans
                      • Be able to source and recommend suitable performance benchmarks against KPIs set
                      • Recommend test and learn opportunities within your planning as standard
                      • Work in partnership with the account lead to ensure the account is run smoothly. Bring your own best practise processes into the team to improve effectiveness where relevant
                      • Contribute to the overall upskilling of digital knowledge of the broader account team

                      The candidate

                      • Agency experience in media planning and buying agencies
                      • Currently in a role that involves account management, digital channel planning & buying as part of a fully-integrated media planning approach
                      • A working knowledge of the current media market landscape and be fluent in their ability to communicate this to clients
                      • A pro-active attitude towards identifying and developing opportunities in media channels that future proof our planning
                      • A comprehensive understanding of the evolving nature of data compliance and its implications for media planning

                        The role

                        Reporting to the Head of Audience Development, you’ll be responsible for the planning, delivery, measurement and success of our year-round audience development work.   As a core member of the marketing department you will be responsible for growing audiences for our catalogue across key digital channels to deepen fandom and boost consumption.

                        The label will look to you to simultaneously drive innovation and embed proven best practice, ensuring different audiences continue to discover and rediscover the world of amazing recordings held within our catalogue.  This will require navigating the ever evolving digital landscape to tap into culture, build strategic partnerships and weave new methods of storytelling to enhance an artist’s legacy.

                        Delivery of Audience Development:

                        • Utilise data and research to understand and identify audience growth opportunities.
                        • Create strategic alignment with cross-functional teams including A&R, Marketing, Creative Content, Planning and Commercial to deliver one integrated plan.
                        • Build relationships with teams in the international team and other global markets, seeking opportunities to collaborate and deliver truly global activity.
                        • Work closely with artists and management teams to agree shared objectives and sell-in resulting long-term plans.
                        • Research, select and manage digital agency partners as deemed necessary to deliver work we cannot manage in-house.
                        • Lead the formulation and execution of best-in-class digital marketing to grow bigger and more engaged audiences for our catalogue.
                        • Take responsibility for the growth of audiences across key digital channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and eCRM among others.
                        • Develop new storytelling methods to culturally connect with new fans & super fans alike.
                        • Bring original digital ideas and concepts to the table, deliver industry-firsts and oversee asset production with internal / external teams as appropriate.
                        • Employ advanced measurement to make the most of our ability to test, learn and optimise, proving successes and explaining failures to enrich future activity.
                        • Prudently manage the allocation and expenditure of marketing budgets.
                        • Guide more junior members of the team and handle direct line management where necessary.
