The role

The successful candidate will be responsible for outbound marketing communication. You are a confident and clued-up copywriter, capable of delivering on-brand timely messaging across multiple channels; social, email, long-form blog posts, and interviews with interesting customers. Most importantly, you love music!

To help you excel, you will work very closely with the Head of Marketing on defining and improving our brand messaging and helping to determine how and when we communicate with potential and active customers.

 

Key responsibilities include;

  • Responsible for marcomms channels (planning, content creation, execution and
  • management): Social media, Email newsletter, Blog posts
  • Helping to execute marketing tactics:
  • Paid marketing, search marketing
  • Audience profiling, segmentation and analysis
  • Understanding the marketing funnel
  • Campaign building, execution, and reporting
  • Content marketing
  • Partnerships and resellers
  • Press

The candidate

  • Relevant, demonstrable experience in marcomms
  • Demonstrable long form copy writing experience, can build on the brand tone of voice, able to quickly absorb and utilise music industry and plug-in language
  • A solid commercial sense for marketing tactics
  • A holistic approach to marketing — thinking beyond ads or social media
  • A passion for music, music production and the product, to effectively work with audio engineering audiences
  • A confident communicator who loves tech
  • Autonomous and self-organising
  • A natural creative full of ideas
  • Campaign building and management
  • Cross-channel digital marketing
  • Familiarity with marketing funnels, and core metrics
  • Performance marketing: understanding of channels and core metrics, bidding, ad copy structure, keyword selection, and channel optimisations
  • Email marketing, some experience with CRM a bonus
  • A keen eye for design, with design experience a bonus

 

Desirable:

  • Experience building/ managing paid media campaigns
  • CRM tactics, marketing automation, product lifecycle marketing
  • SEO, APO, Search marketing
  • Video editing and photography skills
  • Landing pages optimisation, AB testing, conversion optimisation
  • Solid understanding of subscription business metrics and challenges
  • Early-stage start-up experience
  • Experience working in B2B / non-mass market consumer offerings
  • Basic understanding of plug-in / VST software, previous experience at a pro-audio technology company
