The role

About The Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the day-to-day client relationship across three big retail transport names. The role will encompass both brand and performance planning and opportunities to drive the businesses forward. You will be joining a large planning team which oversees a portfolio of 22 clients and working closely with media specialist peers to help shape and improve our planning and buying output.

‌Key Responsibilities

This is a senior role within the planning team, and you will be managing direct reports as well as supporting others in the team. We are a collaborative team, so we are looking for a very capable account lead who can confidently lead on campaign responses and manage the team’s output. You will have direct reports as well as other managers and executives within the team to support and develop.

Client Servicing:

Becoming a partner to your clients, an expert in their industry

Ensuring we deliver best-in-class planning on their campaigns

Strategy and Panning Servicing:

Recommend and set appropriate KPIs

Taking briefs from and presenting back to clients

Consider all channels and make recommendations for the best results

Campaign Management and Performance:

Brief, lead, and manage the channel specialists, ensuring work is delivered on time

Ensure work is a high standard and aligned to the client’s business challenge

Ensure the reporting schedule is set out and adhered to throughout the campaign life cycle

Lead client calls and meetings

Ensure your team and specialists are focussed on delivering against target KPIs

The candidate

About The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will be positive, participative, self-confident, entrepreneurial and imaginative. We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual who has a minimum of six years’ experience is a media role, preferably at an agency.

Essential attributes

You should be currently operating at an account director level

You will be well versed in taking briefs from, and presenting back to clients

Experienced in managing your own and your team’s time and expectations in the process

You will demonstrate an ability to consider all channels and make recommendations

You will have experience of planning and leading brand and sales-driven campaigns

You will have a solid understanding of all media channels

Be thorough and accurate in reviewing and delivery of work

Attention to detail is a must

Knowledge and experience of the following systems is required: DoubleCLick Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, Telmar, Brand Index and TGi

R‌etail experience is desirable
