The role

About The Role

The account management team are responsible for ensuring that we deliver on our promises. We do this by working closely with key teams and partners to create work that works. You will have the freedom and autonomy to fully immerse yourself in our client’s business.

You should create strong and lasting relationships, being seen by our clients as an extension of their own team, and by industry partners as forward thinking and collaborative.

You will play a critical support role in building and delivering our new business pitches, as well as how we grow as an agency. We are a differentiated proposition so it’s vital that we are continually providing a refreshing alternative to our clients. This also means that we have to be commercially aware.

Working closely with your directors you will help ensure our clients understand the value of the work that we do and you understand the commercials.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing your client relationship through effective communication and problem solving

Responding to requests in a timely manner

Taking client briefs and challenging them

Working through the planning process and developing a robust comms strategy

Managing people involved and ensuring everyone is clear on what is required

Presenting work back to clients with confidence and credibility

Ensuring project deadlines and budgets are met

Communicating and seeking approval of any changes needed

Identifying ways to grow client accounts through new opportunities

Managing the work and performance of more junior team members

Keep the team and client up to date with useful knowledge

Maintaining and communicating accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions

Your own performance and growth

Working with finance to bill the client accurately, chase unpaid invoices and do reconciliations

The candidate

About The Candidate

In your day to day, you will be constantly problem solving, challenging and stretching thinking and output. By nature, you should be passionate and obsessed with the detail and getting things right. That means you will often want to get your hands dirty and ‘muck in’.
