The role

About The Role

The role encompasses a wide range of duties, including:

The delivery of outstanding client service and client retention.

Delivery of best-in-class strategies and planning responses.

Exploration of emerging media opportunities and crafting client proposals.

Ensuring campaigns are delivered timely, accurately, and efficiently.

Helping to identify and exploit new business opportunities.

Showing an interest in industry developments.

Share industry news and views with the team and clients.

Managing financial queries, spending summaries, media payments and reconciliations.

Ensuring internal processes are met.

The candidate

About The Candidate

As the account director within the media planning and buying team, you will play a key role in the development, execution, and management of multiple digital media campaigns. You will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day output of some of our key clients as well as being responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the rest of the planning and buying team.

You will be a talented and experienced specialist who will support our client director in delivering best in class media planning strategy and activation. You should be a team player who will work within a close-knit team alongside affiliate and paid search specialists. You will be expected to strategically lead key accounts and liaise with senior stakeholders internally as well as clients, publishers, and technology providers, to ensure that all parties operate efficiently and integrate with one another.

You should be a proven leader and able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm and passion for digital media.

Essential requirements:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in media planning/buying.

A passion for digital and an understanding of the digital marketplace.

Exceptional knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and YouTube.

A thorough understanding of the programmatic and social media space.

Excellent organisational, project management and critical thinking skills.

Ability to pre-empt problems, show initiative and be pro-active.

Analytical with a high level of numeracy and literacy with strong attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally.

Ad operation/trafficking/campaign management experience.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

 

Beneficial requirements:

An understanding of econometric/ attribution modelling across the full marketing mix.

Relevant industry qualifications.

Business related degree –Economics, marketing or mathematics would be preferable.
