The role

About The Role

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the day-to-day client relationship across three big retail transport names. The role will encompass both brand and performance planning and opportunities to drive the businesses forward. You will be joining a large planning team which oversees a portfolio of 22 clients and working closely with media specialist peers to help shape and improve our planning and buying output.

Key Responsibilities

We run a very collaborative team but are looking for a very capable manager that is excited about joining a busy team. You will have direct reports as well as other executives within the team to support and develop.

Client Servicing:

Becoming a partner to your clients, an expert in their industry

Ensuring we are delivering best in class planning on their campaigns

Implement dynamic optimisations against important business targets

Strategy and Planning Servicing

Recommend and set appropriate KPIs

Make channel recommendations, and forecast how they work together

Campaign Management and Performance

Brief, lead, and manage the channel specialists, ensuring work is delivered on time

Ensure work is a high standard and aligned to the client’s business challenge

Ensure the reporting schedule is set out and adhered to throughout the campaign life cycle

Lead status calls, PCAs and own sections of response to brief meetings

Ensure your team and specialists are focussed on delivering against target KPIs

Ensure the reporting cycle is set out and adhered to throughout the campaign life cycle

The candidate

About The Candidate

We are looking for a motivated and conscientious individual who has a minimum of four years’ experience in a media role, preferably at an agency.

Essential attributes

You should currently be operating at account manager level

You will be well versed in taking briefs from, and presenting back to clients

Experienced in managing your own and your team’s time and expectations in the process

Responsive with excellent attention to detail

Thorough and accurate in reviewing and delivery of work

Solid understanding of all digital media channels and how they work together

Familiarity with the programmatic landscape and latest channel, tech and data opportunities.

Knowledge and experience is required for the following systems: DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, Telmar, Brand Index and TGi

Retail Experience is desirable
