The role

You will be a key contact for the client, responsible for the day-to-day media planning and buying. You will be responsible for end-to-end planning and buying across digital channels initially, working directly with clients and internal specialists to monitor performance and ensure delivery of effective media campaigns. However, we will require you to become equally as proficient with offline channels; OOH, Print & Radio, but we will provide you with the necessary training & support to upskill you.

The ideal candidate would have experience across both media planning and buying (but there is the option to be trained on either when you are with us if there is a strong skillset in the other).

  • Understand trends and identify new media opportunities within your planning
  • Obtaining briefs from clients and working collaboratively with relevant internal teams to create client responses
  • Define the roles for all channels within campaign strategies
  • Use planning tools to understand and demonstrate how our offline and online channels work together as part of our overall media plans
  • Understand how both individual channel KPIs and overall campaign KPIs will be used to measure the success of your plans
  • Be able to source and recommend suitable performance benchmarks against KPIs set
  • Work with digital specialist teams to deliver and present cohesive, fully integrated cross-channel plans
  • Manage media bookings, negotiations and billing across all channels, including campaign set-up, management and reconciliation
  • Understand how to build test and learn opportunities into your planning when relevant
  • Manage campaign reporting including writing reports and monitoring live campaign performance, and be confident making recommendations for optimisations and adjustment

Client & Account Management


  • Being a key day to day contact for clients & working with specialist teams across the agency – helping to maintain a strong working relationship and ensuring they are kept up to date with all activity on the account
  • You will need to manage both your own time and that of others working with you, to be able to set realistic deadlines and deliver brilliant work in a timely fashion
  • Confidence in coordinating and leading regular client calls and meetings including weekly client statuses and reporting meetings
  • Coordinating and collating central account management documents such as year plans and finance trackers

The candidate


  • We are looking for a motivated, passionate and conscientious individual who has a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a role involving digital media
  • Be thorough and accurate in reviewing and delivery of work with excellent attention to detail
  • A strong understanding across key digital media channels; Display, Programmatic, Paid Social, PPC & Affiliates
  • Excel skills at an intermediate level are ideal (pivot tables, functions etc) you will create plans and reporting analyses using this
  • Have some experience of delegating to others and managing their workloads
  • Knowledge and experience across the following systems would be ideal: DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Prisma, Google Analytics, SimilarWeb, Telmar, Brand Index, TGi, Nielsen
