The role

Having a focus on digital strategy, thinking, planning, analysis, and architecture of media recommendations the Digital Account Director is responsible for the team’s digital output including quality control, campaign implementation, and the tracking and performance of all media campaigns.


Most importantly we want you to have time to think. Think about applying your craft to complex solutions. Solving the challenges that a client doesn’t know exist. Seeing the next three years not just the next three weeks.


But of course, there are practical aspects to the role, but we are thinking that if you are in a position to be at a director level you have the core elements already bedded down.


A few of the areas of focus ;

  • Think, learn, act. Worry less about asking for permission and remove the boundaries of what you think a role is and your opportunity to drive change.
  • Provide specialised digital media solutions and recommendations to client’s briefs and business strategies as part of the wider client team.
  • Provide client digital thought leadership and expertise.
  • Work hand in hand with us – our biddable media and content centre of excellence to provide overall digital solutions to clients.
  • Always strive for continuous improvement in process, results, service, and self.
  • Develop new methods of imparting and sharing best practice within the entire team.
  • We don’t have all the answers so please ‘contribute beyond your position’ as we say.
  • We have a huge focus on partnerships in key product areas and with media and platforms so always strive for brining them on the client journey.
  • You are the primary conduit between the client and our organisations diverse skills and people so ensure you are always representing the greater good not just what’s in front of you.
  • Most of all have fun, treat people well, speak up, contribute beyond the task, think of how you elevate others and enjoy what you do.

The candidate

• Experience in managing a team within a media agency or similar field.
• 7+ years’ experience in a digital media or marketing role.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• You have excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive, self-starter, clear communicator, and autonomous worker as required.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. You are solutions orientated.
• Support the Head of Digital with the development of new digital, technology and data products that build upon our existing capabilities and supports our digital ambition.
• Expert with industry ad serving, planning & reporting technologies (Sizmek, Google Analytics, WizzAds, Roy Morgan, etc.)
• Expert in industry ad products, rich media, specifications, file formats etc.
