The role

You specialise in Paid Advertising, mainly in Paid Search and Paid Social (Google Ads, Bings Ads, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube). You plan what you buy, you don’t just buy it, which is great fun as you see everything through start to finish. You will have my own dedicated clients your solely responsible for across paid advertising, as well as contribute to larger accounts.

You will attend client calls as well as face to face meetings, so you have a chance to build some wonderful relationships when you’re not analysing data, optimising campaigns or reporting. You love keeping up to date with industry trends, testing new product launches and help feedback on how we do things so we can do it better. You understand growing brands don’t always rely on optimising towards the cheapest/most efficient metric, but what will be the most ‘effective’.

 

The candidate

• You have solid agency experience specialising in paid search and social advertising including but not limited to Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Ads and Twitter Ads.
• You’re certified in at least Google Advertising.
• You have experience in planning and buying (implementing) your paid advertising campaigns in their chosen media platforms.
• You can forecast/provide estimates on the channels you’re buying with an understanding that different objectives require different approached and KPIs e.g., brand awareness and performance strategies are two different approaches despite being able to buy them in the same channel.
• You can pace monthly/planned spends to budget and optimise throughout the duration of activity to meet KPIs/campaign objectives.
• You can help with onboarding new clients by advising on how to provide us with the account access levels we need e.g. How to link Google Ads to our MCC etc…
• You know how to wrap URLs with UTM tagging/spot errors in this so all campaign activity can be tracked accurately.
• You can perform keyword research to identify areas of opportunity through paid search advertising and consult on recommended spends for desired results. You will use this to build campaigns to meet best practice.
• Fantastic Excel skills: you love a pivot table and formulas to help me build fantastic reports for my client and analyse my campaign performance efficiently to yield the best results.
• You’ve worked with the following tools: Google Analytics (or other analytics reporting tools, premium version are a bonus), Google Ads Editor and Bing Ads Editor.
• You’ve great attention to detail. You can identify when something doesn’t look quite right and if you can’t find the solution myself, you’re not afraid to ask for help.
• You can lead internal/client training sessions in my specialist channels to help upskill internal/external knowledge.
