The role

Great opportunity for a talented Account Manager or an eager to learn Senior Exec looking for their next step in digital. Working closely with and reporting into the Account Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of PPC campaigns. From working with the executives and graduates on the account on keyword research and ad copy creation to running daily, weekly and monthly reports this role will work to actively optimise accounts to meet target KPI’s. Regular client communication, presenting in meetings and training/mentoring junior team members are all part of this role.

Attention to detail, excellent time management, strong reporting and data analysis skills are essential for this role. Experience in Google Shopping is required.  Career progression and training opportunities available to the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities include;

  • Own the PPC campaign strategy for one of the agency’s key accounts
  • Ensure all search and media activity is being optimised effectively to meet targets, utilising relevant search management, analytics and ad serving technologies
  • Responsible for developing appropriate search strategies, testing roadmaps and innovation to improve paid search account performance
  • Be the clients ‘go to’ person for all things day to day and account management related
  • Work with internal teams & departments to understand business impact, performance & target
  • Manage and inspire team of account managers and account executives to deliver effective results for clients.
  • Take ownership of briefs from strategy to delivery to ensure objectives are achieved
  • Work with the Account Director to lead all client meetings: PCA’s Quarterly reviews, monthly performance
  • Drive optimization roadmap to performance improvements on all accounts
  • Ensure best practice is adopted across all aspects of PPC accounts

The candidate

The ideal candidate will come from an agency background, with a thorough understanding and proven experience in running and managing million pound PPC campaign budgets across all the major PPC platforms. Experience with Search Ads 360 bid management platforms and running Google Shopping is essential, as well as experience with using Google Analytics to inform and strategically plan search campaigns.

  • Minimum 2.5 years’ active hands on experience in PPC
  • Strong PPC retail experience – confident, hands on experience managing Google Shopping activity
  • Experience leading a team within an agency environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions – particularly Excel & Powerpoint
  • In-depth experience and understanding of PPC across all key suppliers
  • Web Analytics understanding and practical usage particularly Google Analytics
  • Extensive knowledge & experience working with campaign & bid management software, in particular SA360
  • Strong analytical thinking, mathematical skills, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Experience leading client meetings
