About The Role

We are looking to recruit a talented Biddable Senior Manager to join our dynamic Digital team in our head office, in the heart of London’s West End. Working on a hugely varied client base that includes many of the UK’s most successful and well-known events, shows and attractions. 

Key Requirements 

  • Act as a support to Biddable Director(s) by leading aspects of the team and account  
  • Line managing team members, enhancing their abilities, and building the team’s capacity  
  • Keep ahead of upcoming trends, and educate wider team and agency on these  
  • Campaign set up, optimisation, reporting and billing on assigned accounts 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders 
  • Commit to expanding knowledge of our client’s businesses and sectors 
  • Act as a positive, professional ambassador for the paid search service, the integrated biddable team within the media department and the agency, both internally and externally 

 

The candidate

About The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious paid search professional with the following skills and experience: 

Essential attributes 

  • 5+ years’ experience working in biddable platforms incl. Google Adwords & Google Analytics 
  • Experience with ad serving technology and third-party ad tags 
  • Proven track record in leading agency and account best practice for the Google platform 
  • Extensive knowledge of Google products, incl. AdWords, SA360, YouTube, GDN & Discovery  
  • Excellent knowledge of up-to-date trends, product releases and forecasts 
  • Ability to activate paid search accounts for multiple clients at a given time  
  • Client facing leadership and relationship ownership 
  • Excellent communication skills, including reporting insights to clients and colleagues 
  • Technical knowledge including pixel tracking and tag management 
  • Excellent commercial awareness, maths skills, and numeracy

Desired attributes 

  • Experience in paid social platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram 
  • Use of reporting tools such as Tableau and Improvado  
  • An interest in the arts/culture/heritage/entertainment sector and an ability to talk about them in an intelligent way

    About The Role 
    We want our clients to think that we are easy to do business with. Once they hand over their campaigns, they can wholeheartedly trust that they will be executed seamlessly whilst performing against KPIs.   

    The role of Senior Account Manager will be at the forefront of client services, ensuring campaigns are delivered successfully along with tangible learnings which can be utilised going forward.   

    It will require an effective communicator who can translate the client’s business objectives into sound campaign strategies and communicate those plans clearly and concisely to the Ad Ops team. The role requires technical aptitude as well as effective stakeholder management. The Senior AM will be comfortable presenting performance reports as well as helping the agencies we work with present new ideas to clients. They will be an innovator, who thinks “outside the box” and is passionate about the mobile space.  

    CLIENTS: 
    We are looking for someone to deliver first-class campaign management and client service. We work with media agencies and clients direct and want to find someone who knows how to manage their stakeholders and bring their excellent interpersonal skills to the role. 

    PEOPLE:  
    You will have a strong desire to immerse yourself in the whole team, particularly the account management and sales team. You will help mentor junior members of the account management team, supporting the development of their knowledge and skills and support sales from a pre-sale’s perspective, during live campaigns all the way through to post campaign analysis.  

    PRODUCT:  
    You will leverage your knowledge of the digital space to educate and advise clients so that campaigns are delivered most effectively. The role also requires technical aptitude, with an understanding of measurement and verification. You will also have the willingness to want to learn more.  

    GROWTH:  
    You will help own strong relationships with clients to build further revenue opportunities through solid campaign delivery and excellent client service. As a natural networker, you will build new relationships across teams through a solid foundation of trust and key account management.  

    Key responsibilities:   

    CLIENTS:  
    Work with key clients to ensure campaigns are delivered successfully and perform against required benchmarks
    Develop strong and effective media plans based on sound strategies across key client areas
    Build close working relationships with key stakeholders within agencies buying and operational teams
    Clearly understand, co-ordinate and communicate campaign strategy with clients, and set up campaigns accordingly 
    Conduct post-campaign analyses and present results and insights to clients 

    PEOPLE:  
    Work closely with the ad ops team to proactively provide inputs to optimise campaigns, flag and troubleshoot issues
    Work with and support fellow account management team with the management and delivery of campaigns including reporting 
    Work towards becoming a mentor and source of knowledge for junior members within the team across all aspects of the account Management role and wider digital landscape, with the potential of directly managing junior members 

    PRODUCT:  
    Identify opportunities within campaigns, where alternative strategies/products can be adopted to help further its success
    Where relevant, keep informed on the latest industry changes, updates and regulations and understand the potential impact of these 
    Put forward new product solutions, where relevant, that impact the day-to-day of the account management team 
    Keep up to date with products and services as and when introduced.  

    GROWTH: 
    Identify opportunities for revenue upweights within campaigns, and strategically approach clients with the framework for doing so  Use learnings from previous campaign to drive insights and recommendations to support sales teams in their future campaign strategies and drive further revenue

    The candidate

    Key attributes  

    +3 years’ experience managing ad campaigns in at least one of these areas: mobile, programmatic, display, video, social or paid search campaigns (mobile a strong plus)  

    Experience with ad serving technology and third-party ad tags, conversion tracking pixels, floodlighting and reporting +3 years’ experience working with agencies/advertisers and providing excellent customer service with a positive drive for results (experience with Government campaigns a plus)  

    Proven track record in building revenue-driving customer relationships and ability to drive ongoing renewals with incremental business  

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills critical; ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents  

    Proven ability to work and thrive within a fast-paced deadline driven environment  

    Strong quantitative and research skills with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities, excellent with numbers and a strong eye for detail  

    Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel

      About the Role

      You will be part of both the media planning and buying teams with some client-facing responsibilities. In particular, leading re involving the use of digital media channels, coordinating and writing the supporting detailed media plans.       Key Experience: 

      • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in media planning and buying agencies 
      • Currently in a role that involves digital channel planning and/or comms planning of a fully-integrated media planning approach 
      • Working knowledge of the current media market landscape  
      • Able to communicate this fluently to clients  
      • Understanding of existing and developing opportunities within every digital media channel 
      • An appreciation of the evolving nature of data compliance and its implications for media planning  
      • A strong understanding of campaign evaluation knowing how to set and measure against both media, brand and business KPIs  
      • Knowledge of and experience with key planning tools such as Touchpoints, Comscore, RACE, YouGov, Kantar Tgi, Nielson, GA, Google Trends & intermediate – advanced Excel & PPT  
      • Excellent time management skills, both of yourself and others
