The role

About The Role
You will lead and oversee a large team who report directly to you
You will grow and build out your team depending on client and agency needs
Keep your team motivated with guidance and development opportunities
Ensuring the collective output is consistently high standard
You will champion all forms of media content and partnerships in the agency
Share thought leadership, best in class work and identify emerging trends and opportunities
You will be responsible for a wide range of specialisms and growth in digital and tech
You will be ultimately responsible for creating an annual business plan for the year ahead
Work with the whole team to take actionable steps to achieve your objectives
Work closely with the creative production leads to deliver and identify opportunities
Confident in building relationships with new and existing clients across a range of sectors
You will have the freedom to develop strong strategic partnerships with an array of partners
You will have an eye for identifying new trends and opportunities for the team and clients
You will work with teams across the agency to define the strategic role comms plan
You will take an active role in new business development
Develop interesting partnership solutions that demonstrate creative excellence
You will take ownership of commercial forecasting
Identify resourcing requirements and new revenue streams
Take part in industry events to raise the profile of the team and company – awards judging, speaking, contributing to industry press and content showcases

The candidate

About The Candidate
Ideally you will have gained experience in media, content and/or creative solutions environments. You should have developed strong team management skills and be able to show proven experience in people development. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to unite and motivate a team with shared goals and objectives with experience of running a larger team of various levels. You will need to have experience in representing your team and agency at conferences, panels and in PR. You should be able to demonstrate strong client-facing skills and a positive track record of maintaining and growing client relationships.

    The role

    About the Role
    The Social Media manager will join the small but growing team, reporting to Head of Marketing and working closely with a network of freelancers and agencies to deliver excellent content for the brand.
    We are a small, autonomous team within a larger organisation and iterates on a rapid development cycle, so we are looking for individuals who can work at speed and manage their workflow. The ideal candidate is a hardworking and creative thinker used to being hands on, and wanting to learn and grow with the company. The right candidate will be an expert with demonstrable experience in similar businesses and ambition to create outstanding and recognisable content.
    Key Responsibilities:
    Responsible for managing comms calendar
    Creation of content:
          Blog post writing
          Designing social assets
          Helping manage delivery of video assets
    Reporting on social growth and share of voice
    Marketing campaign building, execution, and reporting
    Communicating with partners, influencers and artists
    Working closely with creative agencies, PR and freelancers to manage content across channels

    The candidate

    About the Candidate
    You are a confident copywriter, capable of delivering on-brand and engaging messaging across multiple channels – social, email, long-form blog posts and interviews with interesting artists.

    You love creating content – you are as happy on TikTok as you are blogging – and bursting with ideas of how we can do better.

    Essential Requirements:
    Demonstrable long- and short form copy writing experience, being able to build on the brand tone of voice, and quickly absorb and utilise music industry and plug-in language
    Excellent proof-reader
    A keen eye for detail
    Social media marketing – scheduling, growing audiences, understanding the different channels
    Solid experience with Photoshop and/or Figma
    Foundations of Adobe Premiere
    Project management experience
    A solid understanding of music creation processes
    A passion for music, music production and the product
    Effectively work with audio engineering audiences
    Excellent communication skills
    Autonomous and capable of self-organising
    A natural creative full of ideas
    Desirable attributes:
    Experience in creating video assets
    Experience with Adobe After Effects
    Experience designing advertising assets
    Solid understanding of music technology businesses
    Early stage start-up or creative agency experience
    A keen eye for design, with design experience a bonus
    Previous experience at a pro-audio technology company or interest in music making process
