The role

The biddable AD responsible for ensuring the client receives an outstanding level of service and strategic thinking. You will lead planning and activation across paid search and socials. You will work closely with clients and TM teams to develop and implement recommendations.
You will also play an active role in our cross-department AD team to influence the future direction of the business. Reporting into the performance lead you will be working as part of our 25-person biddable team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead account performance and activation across multiple channels for the client
Act as the senior point of contact for all paid search and paid social activation queries
Lead the output of your team
Ensure expectations are met at the highest standard
Monitor forecasts and month-to-date deliverables and act upon latest trends
Create a strategy and detailed plans including budget proposals from briefs
Contribute to senior management team initiatives with new processes when required
Working on new business pitches when required
Maintain development and nurture relationships with search engines/social media platforms
Ensure the team are up to speed on all the latest developments
Running team appraisals and recruitment and implementing training plans when required.

The candidate

You will have 3-4 years + hands on experience of planning and executing paid search and paid social campaigns across the main search engines and social media platforms
You will be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, independent, curious, motivated and interested in developing yourself.

    The role

    • Work with the Paid Social Senior Manager and other specialists to plan, activate and report on client campaigns
    • Present the paid social strategy in client meetings, making recommendations on the best strategies to put in place, with the ability to answer client questions in a clear and jargon free manner
    • Responsible for day-to-day management of Paid Social campaign strategies, planning, implementation, activation and reporting on assigned accounts
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally
    • Introduce and activate new and emerging trends where appropriate on campaigns
    • Be aware of the ever changing digital landscape and the affect this may have on campaigns
    • Work with the wider media team to develop and grow new starters

    The candidate

    Essential skills;
    • 3+ years’ agency /in house experience working in Paid Social platforms
    • Day to day client lead on social campaigns, experience dealing with client requests directly and with quick turnarounds
    • Ability to activate paid social accounts for multiple clients at a given time
    • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal including reporting insights to clients and colleagues
    • Experience working in a fast-paced working environment
    • Platform account management, budget allocation, forecasting, performance monitoring, strategic testing and campaign expansion
    • Technical knowledge including pixel tracking and tag management
    • Excellent commercial awareness, maths skills, and numeracy
    • Microsoft Office – particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
    • Positive attitude and curious nature

    Desired skills;
    • Use of reporting tools such as Tableau and Improvado
    • An interest in arts/culture/heritage sector and clear ability to talk about them in an intelligent way

      Senior Account Executive

      The company

      Our media investment team services clients across Theatre, Museums, Galleries, Heritage and Attractions. We do everything from account handling to media planning and buying in all channels including OOH, press, radio, and digital audio, and we work together with experts from Abi’s team when it comes to paid social, google and more complex digital display.

      The role

      Contribute to excellent client relationships across a portfolio of accounts
      • Maintain a detailed understanding of each client’s proposition, business goals and challenges, their competitors, the environment in which they operate and their audiences
      • Assist in driving the wider AKA team to deliver outstanding client service by anticipating, recognising and meeting client needs and provide the best value for money in terms of cost/advice
      • Promote positive communication between client and agency by organising and hosting regular meetings, status catch ups, shared documents, and workflow management tools as required on each
      • account
      • Be able to lead meetings if required and confidently present media plans and reports to clients
      • Deputise for Account Manager as required

      Ensure efficient and accurate campaign delivery
      • Lead the wider AKA team to ensure the correct delivery of campaigns, supporting the Account Manager and Director on your accounts where relevant
      • Ensure the media schedule is accurate at all times and shared with the client as necessary
      • Ensure clients are aware of booking deadlines and obtain confirmation to book or release proposed activity according to those deadlines
      • Execute and manage media bookings according to AKA media booking protocols
      • Facilitate the timely supply of artwork and proofs between client and media owner/AKA Biddable team as necessary
      • Brief in and manage artwork creation and delivery via AKA Creative Services if required
      • Manage tagging processes to ensure all campaigns are correctly tracked, and ensure reports / dashboards etc are correctly set up before campaigns start

      Deliver sound, substantiated media plans in response to client briefs
      • Understand fully the most effective and latest routes to market across current UK media channels, particularly in digital media
      • Contribute to or create media plans and directed by Account Manager or Account Director
      • Ensure media campaigns are objectives-driven, and planned using industry tools, previous campaign data and audience insights

      Manage client billings
      • Bill clients weekly as directed by Account Manager or Account Director

      Maintain relationships with media owners
      • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with media reps across all channels
      • Understand key media owners’ propositions and the audiences they are able to reach

      Contribute to new business pitches
      • Assist Account Manager or Account Director with media plans and proposals for new business pitches, as required

      The candidate

      • Have a minimum of one year’s agency experience working within an integrated media agency or media owner, or at least one year’s experience client side working as a Marketing Executive or Assistant
      • Demonstrated passion and knowledge for the UK media market with a great working knowledge of UK media channels
      • An interest in arts and live entertainment
      • Experience of planning, buying, delivering and reporting on integrated cross media campaigns
      • This role would suit someone who is confident, service orientated, articulate and a persuasive negotiator
      • Original, insightful, proactive, organised, enthusiastic and ideas driven approach
      • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

        The candidate

        • Someone with a genuine passion for digital & data
        • At least two years’ experience in biddable media essential
        • Great numeracy skills
        • Excellent organisational skills – including time management (e.g. working towards tight deadlines)
        • Brilliant communication skills – good at working with a variety of people and levels, including agency clients
        • A proactive and ‘can do approach’
        • Proficient knowledge of Excel
