The role

This role is responsible for the quality of strategic thinking on a number of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide clarity and direction on each account
  • To deliver nuanced strategies for each brand, led by insight and evidence
  • To constantly bring the consumer perspective into the planning process
  • To pitch fresh and innovative media ideas to clients
  • To stay in touch with society and the trends that are changing it
  • To have a strong one-on-one relationship with each of your clients

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experience strategist in either a media agency or another discipline who’s after a fresh challenge.   

Key Skills:

  • 10 years+ experience in a communications agency, ideally media-focused but we would consider applicants from other disciplines
  • You will live and breathe media, always looking to discover and test the best new developments that are right for your client
  • A strategic thinker, who can divorce the detail and set out clear thinking that makes a difference to client businesses
  • A convincing presenter, able to sell total communication strategies to clients and inspire them to buy in to breakthrough ideas that don’t follow category

The role

The Client Services Account Director is responsible for developing strategy of integrated marketing initiatives across all digital channels to meet client marketing and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the account team to deliver compelling and inspiring marketing solutions across customers and channels to meet and exceed client objectives and drive profitable customer relationships.
  • Develop client relationship by acting as a strategic partner.
  • Direct account team activity to ensure appropriate activity is developed and implemented according to Harvest quality standards and achieves its objectives.
  • Maintain a strategic overview of account, and proactively advise client on new issues
  • Run/contribute to strategic planning meetings with client.

The candidate

The Account Director is expected to have the following skills and knowledge:
  • A good working knowledge of different capabilities and what they offer the client and customer, including; Search Marketing, Media Planning & Buying, Analytics, Account Planning etc.
  • Ability to present and sell in creative services, comfortable with the different mix of deliverables e.g. email, viral, social media etc.
  • Extensive experience of developing and executing online marketing campaigns
  • Must be able to demonstrate strategic marketing experience as well as the ability to adopt a hands-on approach when necessary
  • Proven experience gained within media and search agencies (either a network agency or integrated agency) and/or client-side digital marketing team
