The role

This role involves leading key accounts as the main point of contact for senior level clients, as well as leading the team of planners and buyers working across them.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Be the first point of call for clients, from dealing with day-to-day requests to partnering them on strategic comms planning and business development.
  • Deliver best-in-class account coordination across the company’s specialist teams and have proven experience in delighting clients.
  • Brief and manage internal teams to deliver on client requirements across the whole business.
  • Manage relationships with senior media owners, making sure all campaigns are delivered to the highest standard and to all audit parameters.
  • Forever evolve media plans, showcasing intelligent planning in line with new media opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a team, ensuring their own growth and progression.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in media planning and buying agencies.
Key Skills:
  • Currently in a role that involves team management and fully integrated comms planning across all channels
  • A minimum of 4 years experience of strategic planning, deeper understanding of solving bigger business challenges and proven excellence in client servicing.
  • A thorough working knowledge of the current media market landscape and be fluent in their ability to communicate this to clients
  • A strong understanding of campaign evaluation knowing how to set and measure against both media, brand and business KPIs
  • Advanced experience with key planning tools such as  Touchpoints, Comscore, Race
  • Experience with  qualitative and quantitative campaign management tools such as Google Analytics, Ad Dynamics, Brand Index as well as a working knowledge of any emerging digital platform measurement opportunities

  • Using industry tools and client insights and data to pull together channel implementation recommendations
  • Presenting recommendations to clients alongside media plans
  • Building out audiences using TGI and YouGov Profiles as well as working with data and insights to create more sophisticated segmentations
  • Working with digital specialists to co-ordinate and monitor digital channels
  • Responsibility for planning, implementing and monitoring media campaigns across radio, print, cinema and OOH – including some sponsorships/ partnerships

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have 3 years’ agency side experience working in media planning / buying.
Key Skills:
  • Experience in online and offline media planning and/ or buying, and be a quick learner who enjoys developing their expertise across more platforms.
  • Someone who lives and breathes media. You’ll be coordinating across all channels so a real passion for understanding what you’re working with is a must.
  • You will have a working knowledge of the full media landscape including digital.
  • You’ll be a ‘practical’ person – a ‘doer’, someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done. Someone who is self-motivated, willing to take on new challenges and can prioritise work and deliver to a high standard.

This role involves taking briefs and understanding the wider context of these briefs alongside presenting back to clients – managing your own and your team’s time and expectations in the process to deliver across the entire account. Key Responsibilities:
  • Be an expert in your client’s industry, the competitors within the sector and their general industry environment. Use this knowledge to set client ambitions for the year and to identify opportunities and areas for growth for the account.
  • Demonstrate an ability to formulate strategies incorporating all channels & recommend how they work together across socials, online and offline in a sector where end-to-end tracking isn’t possible.
  • Recommend and set appropriate KPIs with this in mind alongside the Digital Lead and communicate these concisely to the client.
  • Aid your team in delivering and dealing with day-to-day requests and answering more complex full media briefs. Challenge your team to continually innovate and always anticipate client expectations.
  • Ensure a collaborative approach to working with the digital ents team for the planning, delivery and reporting of social campaigns.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and conscientious individual who has considerable experience running accounts, working with portfolio clients and managing media planning & buying requirements. Digital understanding and experience would be preferred. Key Skills:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & motivate the team to deliver on longer-term best in class strategies and campaign delivery at scale.
  • Solid understanding of all media channels and the role they will play in an increasingly streaming dominated music market.
  • Thorough and accurate, attention to detail is a key requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the accounts, becoming a lead member within the team positioned as a key point of contact for both clients and internal client team
  • Develop in depth understanding of the clients’ business and build a good relationship with the client and key stakeholders. Be a trusted expert and comfortable leading daily communication and presentations
  • Work closely with internal client teams to efficiently deliver strong and clear TV, VOD and Sponsorship recommendations, reports and campaign analysis. Utilise knowledge of media planning and buying products, tools and services to support the team in delivery of solid plans that drive innovation
  • Supporting junior team members and direct reports in day to day activities and development, illustrating best practice in monitoring campaigns and ensuring delivery against required metrics

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have at least 5+years of Broadcast experience, be passionate about TV, ambitious and curious.

Key Skills:

  • Strong written & verbal presentation skills
  • Attention to detail and good time management
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • An in depth knowledge of sport is desirable but not essential
  • Confidence working with data analysis and spreadsheets
  • A strong desire for collaboration and integration across teams
  • Ability to challenge and negotiate

  • Responsible for buying TV and VOD airtime
  • Mentor the media execs and assistants

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years’ experience within an agency planning/ buying role, or somebody within ad sales who is very familiar with the responsibilities involved as a media planner/buyer. Key Skills:
  • Experience across multiple media channels is preferred, however TV and Broadcast is most essential
  • Self starter who can adapt to working within a small team
  • Client facing experience, including presenting plans and getting involved with new business
